The Soul Studio

Lizzie from The Soul Studios will be holding taster sessions of her soul circle with us at The Temple of Wisdom. Each circle is unique and brings its own energy depending on the people that are called to take part. These circles include a connection ritual, grounding in to the space by connecting to nature, stimulating the senses or energy medicine, an oracle card pull and share, journalling and a meditation associated with a certain topic, intention or crystal. It is advised to bring a yoga mat if you wish to participate in the soul circle.

Macramé Daisy Keyring Workshop

Art of the H-art

Join Fibre Artist Alexia Gazi for a 1 hour long workshop to make your very own macramé daisy keyring! Just come along with the willingness to learn a new craft while leaving the busyness of your life behind for that 1 hour. Focusing your mind in the moment on a new skill to create something cute and pretty that you can proudly walk away with at the end of the class is another way to be mindful. A fun activity for any beginner or older kids, 9+ years. Macramé is a great way for children to explore their own creativity with fibre & boost their confidence. All materials will be provided.

Connect with the Forest

Walk around the stunning landscape gardens, and Connect with the Forest. Led by Nigel Grimes, using the senses, breath work and meditation techniques to ease anxiety, stay present, and ground yourself with nature. Forest bathing is the practice of spending time in the forest for better health, happiness and a sense of calm. Research has proven that spending time around trees can reduce blood pressure, lower stress, boost energy and the immune system, and even help you to lose weight.

Cacao Ceremony

Full Power Cacao

Full Power Cacao are back, hosting their sought-after Cacao Ceremonies over the weekend. A Cacao Ceremony is a sacred journey to the heart with the spirit of Cacao through meditation, healing, music, mantra and dance. Allowing you to remove all that is holding you back from being the magnificent person you truly are. Cacao was used by the indigenous healers of Mayan and Aztec communities to enhance their journeying and build bridges between the different aspects of Creation. There is genetic research that dates the use of Cacao back to 2000BC but there is a good chance it was used for thousands of years before this. The Mayans considered Cacao to be a gift from the Gods and it was also called the ‘Food of the Gods’.

Is the daily hustle and bustle overwhelming your mind? Are you learning to meditate and be mindful but find you are struggling? Why not try another form of mindfulness such as learning a new craft, and make your own boho bottle holder? Join macramé artist Alexia from Art of the H-art in a 1.5 hour workshop to learn a new craft and watch the "noise" disappear as your mind engages with learning a new skill. Class suitable for beginners. Just come along with your smile and willingness to learn and materials will be provided for you. At the end of the class you will walk away with boosted confidence, a clear head, and a practical and beautiful boho bottle holder. Great for the warmer summer days, for festivals, or dog walks. WOW Talks Host

We are delighted to have Sarah hosting our WOW Talks stage. Whether introducing our speakers, facilitating a discussion, or leading an audience Q&A, Sarah is sure to bring her unique blend of expertise, energy, and enthusiasm to create a truly memorable home for WOW Talks. Sarah is a successful and established entertainment host with over a decade of experience in the industry. She has hosted stages at large festivals including Glastonbury and Shambala. Alongside presenting, Sarah is a successful model, DJ and social activist. In 2018, she began her campaign for free showers to enhance the lives of London’s homeless. This resulted in her winning Change Maker of the Year Award from JustGiving in October 2019, for her homeless project, ShowerBox, and she continues to dedicate her life to helping others.

Archana Patel - Finding Your Natural High - Why Drinking Less is the Perfect Way to Boost Your Mental Wellbeing

Archana is an Alcohol-reduction Coach, as well as a triple-accredited Health, Nutrition and Positive Psychology Life Coach. She started to change her relationship with alcohol six years ago, initially (and with some reluctance) for minor health reasons but, as the benefits just kept on coming, she has never looked back. Archana now helps other ‘middle-lane drinkers’ transform their relationship with alcohol, whether that means drinking less or not at all, and passionately believes that alcohol-reduction is key to better all-round mental and physical health. Through her community and 1:1 coaching, she shares practical tips for reducing alcohol, shows the never-ending possibilities of a life after booze and offers support to help clients stick to their decision in a society that can often make it so difficult.

Alex Anderson - Mentoring, Giving Back & Helping Others

One of first people with Asperger’s Syndrome to join the Royal Air Force, Alex now volunteers to help others fulfil their untapped potential. Labelled a naughty child and moved between schools Alex Anderson’s early years were a struggle. But an Asperger’s Syndrome diagnosis at nine was the beginning of a positive change in his life – one which would eventually see him become one of the first people with the condition to join the Royal Air Force. During his early years – and before his diagnosis – Alex struggled to settle at school. He moved schools four times and even ran away from school at times – causing real distress for him and his family. He found it hard to plan for the future until he started at a new school. He finally got a diagnosis which led to specialist support from an Autism Unit and he began to finally see a way forward – working towards GCSEs and a career. He dreamed of joining the RAF but wasn’t sure if it was even possible. His first application was rejected. But when the entry rules changed, he tried again, this time, with the help of The Prince’s Trust. He was able to work with their employability team – building new skills and just as importantly, his confidence. He applied again to the RAF and this time, was successful. “Asperger’s impacted my school life, it was challenging and really affected my health and wellbeing,” he explains. “I struggled with everyday situations both at home and at school. Before my diagnosis, I moved around four different schools due to my behaviour. I ran away from school too, just to remove myself from situations I couldn’t deal with. It was really unsettling for me and my family. “I’ve had so many knock backs, but The Prince’s Trust got me through a difficult time and ultimately helped me to achieve my dream,” says Alex. Now the 22-year-old from Newport, Wales works as a Logistic Supplier for the RAF. He wants other people to benefit from the help and mentoring he received so has made it a priority to give back and help others. Alex has gone on to complete thousands of hours of volunteering with young people, veterans and the elderly, and has even been awarded a British Empire Medal for this work. Thanks to him and the team, more young people can find a way to fulfil their untapped potential too.

Milly Pickles - Sharing Resilience, Wellness & Productivity

Milly Pickles fired herself to internet superstardom at the start of the pandemic after posting videos on TikTok documenting life as a disabled athlete and amputee. Over 5 million likes and a brand deal with one of the UK’s biggest sporting firms later, she is now a successful digital creator and has come a long way in the four years since an accident that completely changed her life. Milly lost her leg to an electrocution accident back in September 2017, but never let it get in the way of her love for sport. Milly’s lacrosse teammates from University raised the money needed for her to buy a prosthetic blade, which set her up to start learning to run and from then, she decided to document her recovery online. As well as insightful videos on how she uses her prosthetic leg, Milly also posts regular fitness, food and motivational content, which have seen her grow her following at a rapid pace. Milly has since been spotlighted in the 2021 Cosmopolitan’s Positivity Index and was also a cover star for Women’s Running Magazine, covering her rehabilitation journey and experience being a blade runner. She was further spotlighted by The Telegraph for her role in bringing further attention to women’s sport on social media.

Breathwork - Shane Jasper

Join Shane for a beautiful morning breath session, where he will take you on a journey of groundedness, presence, energy, and clarity, the perfect way to start the day. These sessions will be in three parts. Part One – Coming Home-Subtle conscious breathing, this part allows us to ground into the space and settle into our soma, connecting to the heart space and feeling grounded and balanced. Part Two: Energy! This part ramps up the speed and focuses on an energy shift. These deep, quicker breaths with mullah bandha root lock allow us to make deep and powerful shifts, feeling wakeful, lively, and powerful. Part Three: Humming breath aka Bhramari or bee breath will finish this session with balance and full mind clarity. Why not feel that burn with 1Sculpt Pilates Flow. This is a 45 min low impact, mat based Pilates Flow class. Get ready to work your whole body, focus on your technique and alignment and of course not forgetting that 1Sculpt burn! Shamanic Drumming Meditation - The Conscious Cabin

Everyone is welcome, regardless of their drumming or meditation experience, this workshop can either be used as a learning platform for meditation or a deeper journey and experience. Simply meditating to the rhythmical sound of the drum beat can help to - Reduce Anxiety, Improve Mood, Aid Deep Relaxation, Improve Mental Clarity Journeying with the drum to meet our Spirit Guide and/or Spirit Animal can help us to access the deeper parts of our self that can get lost in day to life, to receive guidance and message that may bring some clarify and/or resolution to some personal matter. This session will be a combination of learning with a mediation practice. We'll learn a little more about the ancient Shamanic Journey Practice. Then using the beat of the drum to either induce a trance state (in order to travel and meet your Spirit Guide and/or Spirit Animal) or deeply relax where the drum beat vibrations can be used to soothe your system.

Creating Kinder Kids Workshop  - Katriona Perrett (Suitable for ages 4 - 10)

Join us for fun packed adventures through the “Kingdom of Kindness”. Using a mixture of yoga, drama games, gratitude practices and calming breath work, we will work together to complete kindness challenges. Through role play we will practice empathy and compassion and your children will become aware of how they think, speak and behave in different situations. Ultimately your kids will learn skills and create habits that will benefit themselves, others and the world around them.
